The problem

A new Sarawak layer-cake and Borneo coffee kiosk with a strict brand book: three typefaces, one gold accent, no gradients and exact wording rules. The site had to make nine cakes feel like a collection, in a mall-kiosk budget, and stay inside every one of those rules.

What we built

  1. A wordmark that writes itself

The LAPISÉ name draws in letter by letter over a looping hero film, with a pause button for anyone who prefers stillness.

  2. Nine cakes, one grid

Every cake gets its own face and story. Pictures from different sources were blended so the set reads as one collection.

  3. The brand book, built in

Cinzel, Great Vibes and EB Garamond only, gold kept to small accents, layers as the only motif. Motion switches off for visitors who ask for less.
